EXT. FELIX’S APARTMENT – MORNING

The sun rises.

INT. APARTMENT – BEDROOM

Felix is at his desk addressing a large envelope to Jack Rabbit Comics. Next to the envelope is a printed and bound reproduction of “Over.”

A KNOCK at the door.

EXT. APARTMENT – DOORWAY

Felix opens his door and finds an envelope. He opens the envelope and walks back inside.

INT. APARTMENT – LIVING ROOM

Felix looks at two pieces of paper. One is a handwritten letter, the other is a printed document from a law office with the words “CEASE AND DESIST” visible.

Felix frowns. He reads the handwritten letter.

FAITH (VO)
Dear Felix. I’m very concerned
about the comic pages I saw
yesterday. You may not be aware of
it, but I’ve decided to run for the
open seat on Town Council. You
can’t publish a book full of sex
and God-knows-what other intimate
details about me. That’s not fair
to me, Felix. Blake thought it
best that I draft a legal document,
but I’m hoping that my request is
enough. Please don’t publish that
comic book, Felix. -Faith.

Felix drops the letter. He scans the legal document. He drops that too.

FELIX
Fuck!

INT. FELIX’S APARTMENT – BEDROOM

Felix grabs the stack of original art from his graphic novel and tosses it, pages flying everywhere.

FELIX
Fuck!

Felix stands in the middle of his room, the pages of his comic litter the floor. Exasperated he looks to the heavens.  Felix looks down, scanning his work. His eyes widen.
