Note for non-comic book fanatics, “The Big Two” refers to Marvel Comics and DC Comics, who combined account for some 90% of all comic books sold in the American market. For many comic book artists, working with either company is THE measure of success in the industry. (We can debate whether that’s actually a good measure of success some other time.)
And as I’ve mentioned before, Skate‘s art is actually the gorgeous art of one Koko Amboro. Koko is the Skate to my Felix, and working with me on the incredible “Tears of the Dragon.” If you’re an “Over” reader and not checking out Tears every Tuesday, where’ve you been?
