What’s this? Another flashback sequence? Yup, here we are. Over the next three weeks, I’ll be filling in the gap between when Faith left Felix and when he started working on “Over” in a sequence that could be titled, “How NOT to get over a break up.”
Now, this page is one example of a change I made from the screenplay to the comic. In the script, I this was a longer process. First Felix boxed up all the remnants of Faith left in the apartment and tossed it aside. He kept looking at the box and it gradually moved out of the house and then finally, he buried it. I didn’t feel like it justified the space in comic form to cover that any more than is on the page, but when I post the screenplay script for this scene, you can be the judge.
Now, in terms of what’s going on here, I’d say it’s generally a good idea after a split to get the things that remind you of your ex out of eye-sight. But burying them in the back yard? That’s a little excessive Felix.
Saving...

Burial is excessive? I burned my last ex’s stuff. (It was only his pictures and stuff, but still.)
Ha. Burning pictures and notes…I suppose that isn’t too bad. But if by buring his stuff, you mean car, apartment, or his “stuff”…yeah, that might get you in trouble.
Thanks for stopping by Jules. BTW, I’ve been starting to read “Marsh Rocket.” Beautiful work. Don’t give it up for stick figure comics! ; )
