So, survey says? MJ or Gwen Stacy? Where do you guys stand?
And also, there are some Easter eggs in this page. I reached out to some creators to see about getting cameos in this convention sequence. Can you make any out?
First, nice input of the Marsh Rocket sign. It’s like half there, but I appreciate the shoutout.
Second, I think Gwen has somewhat of a flimsy argument that just because Mary Jane’s line is more well-known, she’s the better match for Peter Parker. Memorable lines have come from all kinds of horrible people over time. They aren’t better characters or people for it. Mary Jane strung Peter along for ages before actually committing to marry him. Does this sound like a winning woman?
What about the Black Cat? Sure, she was a villainess and a pretty blatant rip off of Catwoman, but at least she was more fun than either the chaste Gwen Stacy or the flighty Mary Jane.
Hey Tyler Great page, and it’s so true as well. I’ve always had a thing for Red Heads While Gwen has a nice body and can be extremely acrobatic in fighting crime, people relate more to MJ because she was the stability that Peter wanted and needed in his life.
You always have to come home someday, why not have a Beauty like MJ waiting for you
For me, it will always be Gwen with Loeb and Sale saying all that need be said about the Peter and Gwen relationship and saying it well in “Spider-Man Blue”
Okay, maybe it’s not a line of dialog but I CAN quote at least ONE famous Gwen Stacy thing every true comic book fan knows:

Then it sounds like Felix could have used you having his back on this debate, Chris.

Interesting analysis, Jules. Check back for Friday’s page…You and Skate are on the same wavelength.

Brian,
I’ll side with you on that one. (Read an issue from Spider-Man Blue today, in fact.) Such a beautiful series.
