Felix Hughes is the Eisner Award nominated writer of the critically acclaimed “Fire of the Pendragon,” a fantasy comic book published by the small imprint, Blam! Comics.
A lifelong comics fan and aspiring creator, getting “Pendragon” published two years ago was a dream come true for Felix. And to make things even better, shortly after his first issue was released, he met Faith Robbins. Beautiful, smart, funny…everything he had ever been looking for in a woman. He found “The One.”
Or so he thought.
It’s been more than six months since Faith left him. Felix has been cooped up in his house, not returning calls from his friends, family, or even Skate, his artist partner on “Pendragon.” Instead, he’s been working on a passion project. And much to the dismay of Tony Tuttle, his publisher at Blam!, the project is not the script for the now two month’s late twelfth issue of “Fire of the Pendragon.”
As Felix prepares to finish the final page of his masterpiece, he’s confident his life is about to change. And he’s right. Just not in the way he expects…

It’s not easy being a beagle like Stan Lee. No one explains anything to him.
It’s summer time! For Troy Hickman, Matt Lewis and Su Chin “Sootch” Li, that means no school and no homework, and hanging out every day. Troy’s house is their usual base of operations. After all, his mom keeps the best stocked fridge. He also has the coolest neighbor, a guy named
Jinx Jeffers much prefers the label panhandler to bum. Afterall, anyone can be a bum, but a panhandler…that takes a certain charm and skillset. Not everyone can do this “job” he’s happy to tell you. As the only bu-, uh, panhandler in his small New England town, Jinx is practically a landmark in the shopping district. Known for his ever changing sign, Jinx’s disposition almost always cheery, despite having lost his two legs above the knee on a freak shark hunting expedition. Or was it to frostbite while climbing Everest? The story changes quite frequently.

Tony Tuttle is the president, editor-in-chief, and all around head honcho of Blam! Comics, a leader in independent comic books and graphic novels. Well, someday it will be. He hopes.
